All of our courses are U.S. Coast Guard–approved and taught in person at locations across Michigan, Florida, Ohio, New York, Illinois, and Minnesota. Our prices are all-inclusive (no additional charges for materials or exams) - we provide the materials and we give the test. Every class also includes FREE paperwork assistance to make getting your license streamlined and simple.
OUPV (6-Pack) Captain's License
Our most popular course!
This 9-day course meets the USCG requirements for the OUPV (6-Pack) Near Coastal license. This license allows mariners to operate for-hire vessels (of up to 100 gross tons) and carry 6 or fewer passengers plus crew. Commonly used for fishing charters, eco tours, sunset cruises, sailing charters, and more!

Upgrade OUPV to Master 100 Tons
*Requires prior completion of OUPV Course
This 3-day course allows mariners to upgrade their current OUPV license to a Master 100 Tons license. This is required in order to operate a for-hire vessel carrying more than 6 passengers. Before taking this course, students must have either:

Assistance Towing
*Requires a valid OUPV or Master Captain's License
This 4-hour course is offered in conjunction with each of our popular OUPV courses. It allows the licensed mariner to engage in for-hire towing services for disabled vessels within the scope of their license. It can be added to both OUPV and Master (less than 200GRT) licenses.
